At Jinan Emerson we produce steel castings thru a process called investment casting.

Investment casting involves an expendable pattern. The pattern is used to form a mold in the investment material. When the mold is set the pattern is melted, burned or dissolve out and the part is cast. This is an ancient process that has been traditionally used to create fine metal sculpture. In todays age this process is used in many areas including:

• Parts for sewing machines
• Rifles
• Golf clubs
• Aerospace components
• Military equipment components

Just to name a few! There are many benefits to using investment casting technology.

• Complex shaped parts can be cast close to final configuration
• Closer dimensional tolerances can be achieved
• Less finishing operations are required
• Sound castings with low porosity

We can produce steel castings with various carbon steels, alloy steels and stainless steels. The material used for stainless steel is 304 and 316. We can produce parts with weights from 30g to 50kgs.
